The schoolâs resource library has been completely updated? Qiao Sang was a bit surprised and nodded, saying "Alright."
If the resources updated this time include what Qingbao needs now, that would be just perfect, because I happen to have points to exchange.
Even though Flame Sky Star has many resources, there are also many pet beasts, and pet beasts can obtain resources themselves without contracts. Basically, as long as pet beasts get resources, they are very likely to use them themselves, so there isnât that much circulating resources in the market.
Fairy-type pet beasts are already scarce, and the resources that fairy-type pet beasts need are also pitifully few. They obtain resources themselves, making it a bit difficult to find resources related to fairy-type pet beasts on the market.
Even if there are, the prices are several times that of Blue Star and Chao Su Star.
Of course, for Qiao Sang, money is not an issue now.
But if I want to find resources for Qingbao, it will definitely take some time and effort; itâs impossible to get them as quickly as exchanging directly at the school.
As this thought flickered, Mikaela stood up, glanced towards the room where the Rain Praying Phoenix was, and lowered her voice, saying:
"Whatâs up with the Rain Praying Phoenix? It seemed a little upset when it returned."
Huh? The Rain Praying Phoenix is also upset? Qiao Sang looked puzzled, guessing: "Could it be missing the Yinpan Spirit?"
She still remembered the fact that the Rain Praying Phoenix was a fan of the Yinpan Spirit.
Just as she finished speaking, the door suddenly slammed open.
The Jis Egg, which had just calmed down, was startled and shook violently.
Qiao Sang and Mikaela looked towards the sound.
The Rain Praying Phoenix flapped its wings and appeared at the doorway, chirping with dissatisfaction:
"Pray for rain."
"Pray for rain."
Donât drag the Yinpan Spirit into this, Iâm upset because you left suddenly, the Yinpan Spirit gave me the task of watching over you, and I told you not to leave my sight.
Itâs still because of the Yinpan Spirit... Qiao Sang mentally complained a bit, organizing her words:
"The Yinpan Spirit asked you to watch over me, hoping that I wouldnât casually leave Flying Bird Island before heading to Void Cliff. Although I suddenly moved to the Beast Taming Center, Lubao and the others stayed behind, indicating that I wouldnât be leaving Flying Bird Island."
She paused and added, "If the Yinpan Spirit were here, it would definitely know this and wouldnât say anything."
"Pray for rain..."
The Rain Praying Phoenix, after listening, showed a "seems like this could be true" expression, nodding.
The Yinpan Spirit is indeed much smarter than it...
I knew it... thought Qiao Sang.
"Pray for rain."
The Rain Praying Phoenixâs dissatisfied expression disappeared, and it chirped to indicate that you can leave whenever you want in the future, but at least one of your pet beasts must stay behind.
Iâm a Beast Tamer, if I really leave, even if I leave Yaobao and the rest behind, I can just summon them when the time comes... Seems like the Rain Praying Phoenixâs intelligence is about the same as Yaobaoâs... thought Qiao Sang, agreeing outwardly:
"Okay."
The Rain Praying Phoenix, satisfied, closed the door.
Mikaela chuckled, though she couldnât understand what the Rain Praying Phoenix was saying, it wasnât hard to figure out what it said from Qiao Sangâs words.
She was just about to speak when Qiao Sang suddenly looked around and asked:
"Whereâs Jiu Bugu?"
Mikaela paused for a moment, replying with a tone of resignation:
"It went out for something, donât worry about it, itâll be back by daylight."
Speaking of that, Mikaela lost interest in chatting, stood up and walked back to the room.
When she reached the door, she stopped, turned around, and advised: "Donât forget to check the schoolâs points exchange section. Itâs best to look right away; every time the school resources are fully updated, the good stuff gets exchanged quickly."
Qiao Sang: "..."
But didnât the schoolâs resource library get updated two days ago? If the good stuff gets exchanged quickly, wouldnât it all be gone by now... Qiao Sang mentally complained a bit, nodding:
"Got it."
Mikaela returned to the room and closed the door.
Qiao Sang sat on the sofa, took out her phone, logged onto the Imperial Beastmaster Academyâs official website, and leisurely entered the points exchange section.
Even though Teacher Mikaela said the good things would be exchanged quickly, she was not particularly worried.
What she wanted now was resources to increase Qingbaoâs energy; as long as it increases energy, it doesnât matter if itâs scarce.
Itâs not that fairy-type resources arenât scarce, just that with Qingbao now at the General-level, fairy-type resources at this level are not much at the Imperial Beastmaster Academy.
Even if there really are any of the good items that Teacher Mikaela mentioned, it would take a huge amount of points to exchange for them. Like those resources at the top of the points list she saw earlierâeven though theyâre heavenly materials and earthly treasures you rarely seeâthey stay in the resource library as no one exchanges for them because they require so many points.
Qiao Sang thought as she quickly scanned through the items in the points exchange section.
[Name: Enlightenment Pearl]
[Type: Item]
[Function: It can make pet beasts smarter within a certain period, allowing them to learn skills more quickly.]
[Note: The Enlightenment Pearl is a consumable item, and can only be used up to ten times.]
[Points: 1000]
What a great deal, such a powerful item only costs 1000 points... If a pet beast uses it while learning a super-level skill and learns it, wouldnât it be a big profit... But no matter how strong this item is, it probably canât make a pet beast comprehend super-level skills... Also, the few pet beasts I have, including Yaobao, have quite high talent in learning skills, so itâs not needed...
...
[Name: Will Fire Crystal]
[Type: Crystal]
[Function: Increases Fire Will in fire-type pet beasts.]
[Note: If your fire-type pet beast lacks the energy and drive expected of the fire element, this item is very suitable. Also note, this Will Fire Heart is infused with the will of an Explosive Ape. The Explosive Ape has an impulsive and fiery personality; if used by a pet beast with weaker endurance, it can be easily influenced by this personality, causing a major change in character.]
[Points: 500]
...
[Name: Variant Color Little Pigeon Egg]
[Type: Pet Beast Egg]
[Function: Variant Color Little Pigeon, species limit Emperor Level, Fighting-type pet beast, high intelligence, and studious.]
[Note: Itâs detected that the pet beast egg contains a lot of Water-type energy; thereâs a chance the hatched Little Pigeon will have a Water attribute.]
[Points: 150,000]
...
Sure enough, the Imperial Beastmaster Academy never disappoints. As soon as the resource library is updated, 90% of them are different from the resources recently... thought Qiao Sang, her eyes continuing downward.
[Name: Elf Silk]
[Type: Thread]
[Function: After absorption, it can greatly increase the energy of a fairy-type pet beast, as well as provide a certain level of enlightenment.]
[Note: Elf Silk is formed from energy gathering. Once the sealed box is opened, the Elf Silk will automatically pour into the nearest fairy-type pet beastâs body. Please be aware of your surroundings before opening it.]
[Points: 3000]
