Peter Gingery had been out on a task for the past few days, and everyone was just waiting for his return, to strip off the faux marriage certificate outer layer from the Chief!
"You may." James Black raised his eyebrows, "Now, go and complete your punishment!"
With James Blackās promise, the group willingly went to fulfill their punishment, each poised and eager to shame the Chief once Peter got back.
When it was the Chiefās turn to clean the restrooms, they made absolutely sure to make them even dirtier and more foul!
As everyone else cleared out, James Black looked down at the marriage certificate by his feet and the few photos that were torn off separately and felt a headache coming on.
After some thought, James Black picked up the box with everything in it, and held it all the way back to his dormitory. He then took off all the photos on top, and with scissors, he meticulously cut out and separated each photo of Jane Sampson from theirs.
As he continued cutting, James Black increasingly felt that the punishment heād given was too mild!
A bunch of idiots, holding onto such horribly Photoshopped photos like treasures. The photos of Jane, dressed in formal attire at events, those could pass, but there were also street shots, and it didnāt end there. Some moron even used Janeās costume drama promotional photo to Photoshop onto a marriage certificate!
Utterly nonsensical, and then there were those few photos where they smiled like the simpleton son from next door on their selfies - simply hideous to the eyes!
After cutting all of the photos, James Black swept Janeās portion into a drawer, leaving behind those of the foolish group to return to them after the punishment was over.
As for those little notebooks, James Black had someone burn them all to ashes right away.
After taking care of these things, James Black glanced at the watch on his wrist. It had been so long; hadnāt Jane finished laughing yet?
Wasnāt she supposed to call him after sheād had her fill of laughter?
Little swindler!
James Black waited another five minutes, and when Jane didnāt call back, he dialed her number directly.
The phone rang for a long time before it was picked up. Before Jane could even speak, James Black asked coldly, "Havenāt finished laughing yet?"
"Huh?" Jane on the other end was utterly baffled, "???"
It was funny, sure, but it wasnāt like anyone would laugh for nearly an hour straight.
From that surprised "Huh?" James Black knew that someone had already forgotten their own words.
Ultimately, James Black didnāt bother arguing with Jane. "When you come back, Iāll pick you up. Iāll call Grandpa now to let him know and to tell Grandma weāll come over for dinner that evening."
"No rush, what if my schedule changes unexpectedly?" Jane interjected, "Even calling the morning of the day Iām boarding would be soon enough."
"No changes allowed! Thatās it, hanging up!" With that, James Black ended the call.
Just two days, only a two-day wait!
When she comes back, heāll take her to the guard team and see how those dumbfounded lot keep their discontent in check!
In the small village, Jane Sampson held her mobile phone, listening to the buzzing sound from the other end, recalling James Blackās prohibition against changes, followed by his hasty hang-up. She puckered her lips and huffed, "King Black!"
This time, leaving the film crew, Jane hadnāt brought Elizabeth King along. To Jane, having her assistant, Elizabeth, was as good as notābeing there or not made no difference. Most of the time, Elizabeth preferred to hover around Mandy Forest.
Having spent just half a month in the village, Janeās popularity upon arrival and departure was nowhere near the same.
Thanks to the cohabitation incident a few days ago, coupled with Janeās own twitter accountāthough not wealthy enough to rival entire nationsāJaneās fame had risen several levels.
