"If everyone suspects it was her, then itās probably her." Coco Edwards cursed, "Damn it."
Jane Sampson turned her head and gave Coco a pensive look, "Stay calm."
"Sister Jane, you have such a good temper. Even when Amber Edwards bullies you like that, you donāt lose your cool," Mona Calm chuckled, "No wonder everyone says Sister Jane is such a nice person."
"Itās not that I have a good temper," Jane Sampson shook her head as she explained to Mona, "First, this is a place with people coming and going, all temporary colleagues. If I were to lose my temper, someone would definitely label me as having a bad temper or being a diva and blast it on the internet. Iām protecting my reputation, which is why I canāt lose my temper here."
Moreover, this matter, to me, doesnāt count as anything particularly serious. As long as it can be solved, in my eyes, itās not really an issue. If I were to get angry over every little trick someone else pulls, then Iād be thin from anger every day, but getting angry causes wrinkles, it makes one ugly, and it also affects oneās health."
Jane Sampson was very articulate, "You see, if I were to compromise my health over someone elseās mistake, it wouldnāt be worth it, right? So, oneās temper needs to be controlled based on the time and place. If a person loses their temper at the drop of a hat, then their anger becomes worthless."
"Sister Jane is so right," Mona said, admiringly, "Every word you say sounds like a profound truth."
Coco listened to Janeās wisdom, it had completely stunned Mona, and she couldnāt help but laugh inwardly. Jane, so capable of dispensing wisdom, letās see if she can resist punching her pillow when she gets home.
The three were just talking when, over there, Amber Edwards suddenly let out a high-pitched scream, calling out Jane Sampsonās name and charged over toward her.
"Jane Sampson, what do you mean by the tweet you posted? Who are you calling weird?" Amber stood next to Jane, holding her mobile phone and interrogating her, "Delete that tweet!"
"Youāre meddling in business not even a dog would bother with?" Jane arched her eyebrows, "I wonāt delete it."
"I didnāt share stuff with you, so whatās wrong with that, and you go on twitter to make snide remarks? Jane Sampson, do you have no shame?" Amber gritted her teeth.
Nowadays, under that tweet of Janeās, there were nothing but internet comments cursing her. She had only scrolled through a few and was already about to explode.
"Iām the one who needs shame? Youāre shameless?" Jane sneered, "How you act is what Iāll talk about. Am I not allowed to state the obvious truth?"
As Jane spoke, she slowly stood up.
She was about to retort about Amber taking sneaky photos and spreading rumors that Jane was isolated, when suddenly, a person in a black suit hastily ran over and yanked Amber to the side, raising a hand as if to slap her. But in the end, he restrained himself and did not strike her.
"Amber! I think youāve forgotten about the previous matter! You think just because the shareholdersā meeting is over, you can do as you please? Do you think our company has it too easy establishing itself in Capital Province or what?" Noah Edwards happened to be nearby when he learned about the tweet.
Noah had hardly dared to waste a moment, he had pressed the accelerator and rushed over straight from wherever he was.
When he saw the tweet about Jane being isolated, the first thing Noah thought of was Amberās doings, and when he saw Janeās retort on twitter, he worried that given Amberās temperament, she might openly start a fight with Jane on the film set.
