Coco Edwards shot a cold glare at Jane Sampsonās belly, unable to stop herself from asking.
"When did your belly ever stick out?" Since Coco Edwards knew Jane Sampson, she was always slim, so her belly had always been flat.
Coco Edwards reached out towards Jane Sampsonās belly and smiled slightly, "When your belly finally sticks out, your Father Black should be happy enough to give me a bonus."
"Why?" Jane Sampson asked, "If Iām pregnant, why give you a bonus? Shouldnāt it be me getting the bonus?"
"Who said anything about being pregnant? The credit for being pregnant doesnāt go to me, it goes to your Father Black. What bonus would I get? What Iām saying is, when you finally gain a little belly, your Father Black will be delighted to give me a bonus. Itās so hard to fatten up you little pig."
After saying that, Coco Edwards shook her head and sighed, "Your Father Black is probably the most exhausted pig farmer."
Jane Sampson was speechless, chose to ignore Coco Edwards, turned around, flipped her ponytail, and went to grab some food.
After eating at the hotel, Jane Sampson rushed off to the theatre. The afternoonās drama went smoothly, but the eveningās script kept running into problems, and by the time she finished work and returned to the hotel, it was over one oāclock in the morning.
Back to hotel, Jane Sampson was utterly exhausted, took a bath, and had no appetite for the food Coco Edwards prepared for her, lay on the bed and fell asleep almost instantly, unaware even when Coco Edwards left her room.
The entire hotel was basically film crew personnel, at this time the hotel was silent; in the corridor, no sign of anyone.
a.m.
A figure dressed in black appeared in Jane Sampsonās doorway.
He pulled out a room card from his pocket and swiped it, walked right in.
The soft footsteps and door opening sound didnāt disturb the sleeping person in the bed.
The person who entered tiptoed towards the bed, gently sat on the bed edge, and reached out to tug at the quilt covering her, freeing her head from the quilt.
"Hmm~" The person in the bed grumbled dissatisfiedly, and then suddenly woke up, startled like a frightened bird.
"Itās me, James Black."
James Black, sitting next, knowing he startled Jane Sampson, quickly spoke up and reached out to steady her shoulder.
"Donāt be afraid, itās me." James Black pulled the shocked person into his arms, "Always told you, but you love to bury your head under the quilt."
Startled, Jane Sampson woke up.
She gazed blankly at James Black, "Why did you suddenly come?"
Jane Sampson asked in bewilderment, still a bit dazed from just waking up.
"Didnāt you say you like this kind of surprise?" James Black searched Jane Sampsonās head and even lowered his head to give a little kiss, "So I held back this afternoon and didnāt tell you Iād come over tonight."
"??!!" Jane Sampson stared blankly, no wonder he looked a bit strange when he asked her that question at noon.
"James Black, is your romance always with cold humor?" Jane Sampson gave James Blackās arm a punch, "You really almost scared me to death just now, no surprise there, but plenty of fright."
After complaining about James Black for a moment, Jane Sampson continued to ask, "Why did you come looking for me so late?"
"I tripped you at noon, came over to see if you got hurt." This matter had been hanging in James Blackās mind for one afternoon and one night.
