Old Master Black took out the pad but didnât walk away because Jane Sampson said she was buying clothes for James Black, so Old Master Black sat next to Jane Sampson to help her with advice.
When Jane Sampson searched for motorcycle leather jackets, Old Master Blackâs eyebrow twitched, and he couldnât suppress a sneaky laugh in his heart.
Oh my, James Black, the stinky boy, is in for a treat.
"Little lass, youâre buying a leather jacket for that stinky boy to wear? Will he be willing to wear it?" Old Master Black kindly reminded Jane Sampson, "With his foul temper, if you donât coax him properly, he will definitely not wear it, and perhaps even disdain your taste in aesthetics."
"Grandfather, you really understand James Black too well." Jane Sampson was indeed scorned by James Black when she suggested leather jackets and flared pants back then.
"Times have changed, whether he wants to wear it or not, he has to wear it. If he dares not to wear it, I have plenty of ways to deal with him." Jane Sampson rubbed her hands confidently, "Grandfather, just wait. When he puts it on, Iâll take a photo and share it with you."
Because of Jane Sampsonâs mysterious confidence, Old Master Black believed Jane Sampson had a way.
The two, young and old, sat with the pad discussing which leather jacket to buy for James Black and which flared pants to pair with it. This discussion persisted even during lunch, and even when Old Master Black went for a lunch break, the two hadnât decided on which set to purchase.
There were just too many good choices, and the two couldnât reach a consensus.
Old Master Black preferred something a bit flashy, retro with intricate embroidery; the flashier it was, the more he praised its beauty.
Meanwhile, Jane Sampson preferred a simple Hong Kong style, while Old Master Black disliked it as too plain, saying since itâs rare for James Black to wear such a thing, it should be distinctive.
However, when it came to leather shoes, the grandfather and granddaughter surprisingly reached an agreement.
They directly bought James Black a pair of shiny, pointed, three-centimeter high-heeled menâs leather shoes, the lace-up kind; the fancier, the better.
In Jane Sampsonâs words, aside from dance shoes, this was the first time Jane Sampson had seen such flamboyant menâs leather shoes.
Online shopping really is magical; all sorts of bizarre things can be found.
Because they were custom-made, these shoes werenât cheap at all, and theyâd have to wait half a month for them to be shipped.
After ten oâclock, Brooke Black returned with Peter Gingery and Bright Sampton, who had been carried in.
"Whatâs wrong with him?" Jane Sampson looked at Bright Sampton lying horizontally on the sofa and asked a caring question.
"Itâs nothing, his emotions werenât in place, so I fumed him with onion water and gave him a jolt, then he just fell asleep." Peter Gingery was still tearing up non-stop after getting home. "Whose idea was that onion water, itâs way too genuine! I cried the whole way and my eyes are so swollen theyâre about to stay shut. Seriously, if Iâd known, I wouldâve pretended to faint."
"Rinse your eyes with clear water; itâll help a bit." Jane Sampson pushed Peter Gingery towards the restroom. "Use cold water, donât use hot water."
"Will it work?" Peter Gingery walked towards the restroom half-believing.
"Donât rub your eyes with your hand again." Jane Sampson advised one more time before going to check on Bright Sampton.
Peter Gingery didnât hold back at all, revealing red marks when lifting Bright Samptonâs neck, no wonder Bright slept so deeply.
Old Master Black asked for Bright Sampton to be carried to the guest room to rest, and then he started discussing the caseâs progress over there with Brooke Black.
Brooke Black handed Jane Sampsonâs purse to her, "Check if thereâs anything missing."
