Lawrence Castle.
Baron Gladon and Baron Valmy gathered again.
At this moment, compared to a few days ago, their worry had intensified.
"Baron Pape, has that person not returned yet? Also, has Eagle Territory really not retreated?"
"That Minotaur tribe is now just two hundred miles from the Maine River Valley, at most three days away."
Baron Gladon couldnât help but speak first.
"Indeed!"
"Among the Pioneer Lords in the Maine River Valley who previously agreed to resist with us, only three remain now, the others have fled."
Baron Valmy spoke as well.
After a few days, their expressions grew increasingly anxious.
"Indeed, still not returned!"
"However, Eagle Territory has truly not retreated."
Pape Lawrence wasnât faring any better either, his expression carried worry as well.
If he werenât absolutely sure that Eagle Territory was still unchanged, he would likely have been unable to hold back either.
But as the Minotaurs drew closer, it was not a matter of holding back, but a matter of facing a looming crisis.
"Letâs go, letâs take another look!"
"We canât wait anymore!"
"Once the Minotaur tribe arrives, if we donât have enough strength, we canât hold them off; we should be ready to retreat."
Baron Gladon fell silent for a moment, but in the end got up, his words followed immediately.
"Alright!"
"Indeed, this is something we canât handle."
Pape Lawrence nodded after a brief silence.
With Pape Lawrenceâs agreement, Baron Valmy naturally had no objections and soon concurred.
The three quickly headed towards Eagle Territory.
A day later.
The three arrived at Eagle Territory once again.
But the result they got was still unsatisfactory.
"Has Lord Thor not returned yet?"
Pape Lawrence couldnât resist speaking again.
"Yes, Baron Pape, it might still take a while."
"The Lord said he would definitely return within ten days."
Reine nodded, speaking solemnly; even Reine was aware of what was about to happen, even he couldnât help but be tense.
"Ten days!"
"This!"
Baron Valmy instinctively wanted to speak.
But was stopped by Baron Gladon.
"Thank you, Reine Knight!"
Baron Gladon pulled Baron Valmy slightly, then thanked Thor.
After the three departed.
"Letâs go!"
"Ten days, but at most three days, the Minotaur tribe will probably arrive."
Baron Gladon spoke with a bitterness, his expression somewhat helpless.
"This!"
The two exchanged glances, filled with unwillingness, but ultimately could only nod in disappointment.
The Minotaur tribe was not something they could handle.
Ten days werenât enough, so they had no choice but to give up.
At worst, pay some gold coins as a ransom, better than losing everything here.
Just as they were about to leave.
Dust rose in the distance.
The ground began to tremble.
The entire Eagle Territory suddenly became tense.
But amidst the tension.
The figures in the distance gradually approached.
The three first saw the newcomers.
Upon seeing the leading figure, the three froze for a moment before joy appeared.
"Itâs Lord Thor!"
"Heâs back!"
Baron Gladonâs voice was filled with surprise.
The other two couldnât help but reveal joyful expressions as well.
The once vigilant personnel of Eagle Territory also quickly relaxed.
Soon the unicorns brought everyone to the foot of Eagle Territory.
"Greetings, Lord Thor!"
"Greetings, Lord Thor!"
"Lord Thor!"
The trio showed joy, quickly approached to perform the knightâs salute.
But in the moment of the salute, the pupils of the trio involuntarily contracted slightly.
"You, you broke through!"
"Lord Thor!"
With surprise and disbelief, Pape Lawrence looked at Thor, even carefully sensing for a moment.
His exclamation.
Also drew othersâ attention to Thorâs aura change.
This left the trio with a look of shock.
Just recently, he was an Apprentice Knight, now he was an Official Knight.
"Sorry to keep you waiting!"
Thor smiled at the trio, not minding their exclamations.
"You honor us, Lord Thor!"
"Not long, not long!"
The trio quickly spoke.
"Letâs not stand on ceremony, the Minotaurs are about to attack, letâs go inside and talk."
Thor then dismounted the unicorn, handed it to the guards, and led the trio into Eagle Castle again.
The trio nodded, quickly complying.
Then the four entered the castle.
Anna swiftly went to prepare.
The four sat down separately.
"Lord Thor, do you know the scale of the Minotaursâ attack this time?"
As soon as he sat down, Baron Gladon couldnât resist asking.
"I know a bit, the Minotaurs probably used a secret technique to increase their numbers, it should be about six or seven thousand by now."
Thor nodded, contemplating as he spoke.
"Indeed, although the secret technique only increases ordinary Minotaur numbers, itâs unlike goblins; even a Minotaur boosted by the secret technique would be challenging for an average human male, at least needing the Preparatory Knight Order, and currently there are about seven thousand."
"As you know, even combining our number of Preparatory Knights wonât meet such a figure, and we donât have an Earth Knight, itâs difficult."
Baron Valmy spoke too.
His expression carried deep concern.
"Lord Thor, is there any chance to handle this crisis, or should we abandon the territory and pay the kingdomâs ransom?"
Pape Lawrence was more direct.
Tulip Kingdom has regulations.
Any knight can become a Pioneer Knight, but once they do, they must protect their territory; abandoning it means paying the kingdom a ransom for the sin of losing the territory.
Such a sum is significant.
No one would choose this unless absolutely necessary.
But if they canât manage, this is the only choice.
As the trio spoke, they couldnât help but look at Thor.
Facing their nervous and anxious expressions, Thor knew he must steady their hearts, or they certainly wouldnât persevere.
Without support from these baron lords, even with enhanced strength, it was difficult to withstand this crisis.
"Everyone, listen to me!"
Thorâs words echoed, immediately quieting the surroundings.
