"Master Amory, Iâd like to ask, how long until the next academy ranking?"
Compared to Fapuer being struck down, Thor wasnât too surprised.
This is no joke; itâs the ranking of the entire Canaan Academy, as the top educational institution in the Empire, not reaching the Divine status at the first position would be odd.
Contrary to this, he was focused on another point.
"Yes, yes, Master Amory, how long until the academy ranking?"
Though Fapuer was disheartened, at this moment he quickly recovered, and spoke.
With this, his gaze fell upon the golden light screen once more.
"It should be about seven months!"
Amory pondered for a moment, and then began to explain.
"Seven months?"
"Master Amory, whatâs the power level difference between rank one thousand and the top five hundred?"
Thor nodded again and asked.
Knowing thereâs an opportunity to earn merit points, Thor naturally didnât want to miss it.
"At rank one thousand, the power is at least that of a Holy Sanctuary Knight. As for the top five hundred, it might have already reached high-tier Holy Domain, stronger than typical lecturers, and some academy masters might only possess strength ranging from five hundred to a thousand."
Amory glanced at Thor and, after some thought, conveyed some of the details once more.
Among the two, if anyone had a shot at ranking, it was undoubtedly Thor.
Even if itâs difficult to rank this year, within three years there should be an opportunity.
And as long as he enters the top thousand, Thorâs growth could unquestionably advance to another level. Being a special recruit, he might even have a chance to ignite Divine Fire and gather Divinity.
Even if he cannot, achieving the Divine Domain is not a problem.
"Hiss, this, this!"
Amoryâs words caused Fapuer to gasp beside him.
He hadnât expected it at all, even ranking within the top one thousand would be so powerful.
The Holy Domain, even in Sela Kingdom, isnât numerous.
Yet here at Canaan Academy, merely the student ranking, the top thousand are all in Holy Domain. At this moment, his scalp tingled with awe once again at Canaan Academyâs might.
Of course, Thor wasnât concerned with Fapuerâs amazement. Listening to Amoryâs answer, he fell into deep thought, though soon this contemplation turned into a shake of his head.
Wanting to challenge the thousand with his current ability seemed very tough.
After all, fighting just a projection before demanded too much effort.
That was merely a projection; the true Holy Domain would be even stronger. With his current power, it was certainly insufficient.
But he just hesitated briefly, and soon his thoughts returned.
For him, even if it doesnât work now, seven months later it might be possible. His strength is set for a fast growth phase; by then he should be able to compete with a Holy Domain.
He gave up on the top five hundred, but the top thousand could be within reach.
Within a year, he could earn an additional five hundred merit points, which is quite considerable.
Not to mention the improvement for him personally, using them purely to develop his domain could potentially offer great benefits.
As his thoughts wandered.
Amory paused.
"Master Amory?"
Fapuer spoke subconsciously, his expression curious.
Thor also glanced at Amory.
"Thatâs all!"
"You should have grasped the academyâs situation; Canaan Academy doesnât really follow traditional kingdom pedagogy. If you wish to study, you can enter the Illusory Domain and use merit points for exchanges. Leaving is also simple; just channel your spiritual power into the student card."
"Next, I have some matters to attend to; Iâll take my leave!"
Watching the two, Amoryâs voice sounded again.
"Thank you, Master Amory!"
"Thank you!"
The two nodded to express their gratitude.
"Wish you both luck!"
Amory waved his hand and, in the next moment, moved off into the distance.
As Amory departed.
Fapuer turned to Thor, hesitated for a moment, and then spoke.
"Thor, where are you planning to go later?"
Fapuer was a bit cautious, as Thor had performed exceptionally earlier.
"Iâm planning a trip to the library."
After a brief pause, Thor indicated the massive library amidst the distant clouds.
"Perfect, I need to head there too; may I accompany you?"
Fapuerâs eyes lit up, and he hurriedly nodded and spoke.
"Sure!"
"Letâs go, weâll head there together!"
Thor nodded slightly, not refusing the offer.
The Death Divinity was technically taken from this person, and if necessary, Thor wouldnât mind providing some help in the future.
Of course, Fapuer was unaware of this.
Following Thor on the way to the library, he appeared especially enthusiastic, constantly conversing with Thor.
Until the two reached the library.
Fapuerâs voice gradually fell silent.
Compared to other places, the library seemed to possess a tranquil power, subconsciously quieting voices, or even stopping them altogether.
"The power of Law!"
Thor whispered softly, not surprised.
After all, this is Canaan Academy, even if itâs an Illusory Domain, being a top institution of the Empire, achieving these remarkable feats seemed not too extraordinary.
The library, appearing immense from afar, looked even more like a wonder up close.
Approaching, you feel as though in a sea of books.
"Identity scan!"
"Student: Thor Dressrosa, reading authority Level 2, can read the first and second-layer books!"
"Identity scan!"
"Student: Fapuer..., can read first and second-layer books!"
A cold female voice sounded, and the two instantly stepped into the library.
Contrary to Thorâs imagination, the library was still a plain white.
With just a huge spiral staircase before them, clouds seemed to gather forming layers of book collections, countless volumes standing amidst the clouds, with adorable little elves fluttering among them, bestowing each book with colorful glows.
Even in the first and second layers, many students were browsing through books.
Thorâs arrival with Fapuer hadnât drawn much attention; if anyone noticed, it was just a glance before returning their gaze.
Thor and Fapuer didnât bother with that either and proceeded to head towards the book collections.
Before they could approach.
Two little elves came flying.
"Hello, honorable student Thor Dressrosa, what kind of book are you looking for?"
"Hello, honorable student Fapuer, what kind of book are you looking for?"
The voices of the two little elves sounded, making the pair pause their movements.
Thor raised his brows, curiously observing the little elf before him.
But he merely cast a curious glance, then pondered slightly before speaking.
"Hi there, I wonder if there are any books on Continent Comprehensive History in the first and second layers?"
Speaking out, Thor voiced his intentions.
"Yes there are, please follow me!"
The little elf paused briefly, then nodded and moved towards the distance.
Thor greeted Fapuer and then followed.
To Thorâs surprise, this type of book wasnât on the first layer but was located on the second. However, Thor fortunately had Level 2 authority, allowing him to peruse the second-layer books.
