"So, Riya can do ’Resurrection’ now!? D*mn! I used to think that things like reviving the dead and ’resurrecting’ people back to life were just superstitions and myths!!"

"But to think that it’s actually possible to do something like that in reality..."

A look of admiration and awe appeared on Liam’s and Ellie’s faces as they both stared at Riya as if she were some kind of goddess!!

Seeing those awe-filled eyes, Riya puffed up her chest in pride and spoke in a smug voice.

"Of course I can do it! I have been granted the unique title ’The Goddess of Resurrection’ by the ’World’ itself!"

"But of course it’s not an omnipotent skill; it has clear limitations..."

Riya glanced at Rio, who was playing with Lia’s hair with one hand and sipping juice from a glass with the other while sitting on a nearby sofa together with Lia.

"If Rio hadn’t brought both of your souls back from the spirit realm intact and in good condition, it would have been impossible to use ’Resurrection’ on you two..."

As the group did not want to tell Liam and Ellie that they had used cloned bodies prepared by Neo Aldif to revive them both, they all agreed to just put the entire credit on Riya’s newly awakened ability, ’Resurrection.’

Liam and Ellie didn’t suspect anything either, as they both felt that their bodies were quite identical to their original ones; the only difference was that they were not as strong as they both used to be.

"It’s actually all because Ellie managed to summon Liam’s soul back to her side and kept it safe for nearly an entire year..."

"If not for that, I wouldn’t have managed to save Liam..."

Hearing Rio’s words, Ellie shook her head.

"No, you were the one who worked the hardest to accomplish this miracle."

"Everyone knows that the spirit realm is a literal hellhole; even SS-rankers avoid that place and prefer not to enter it..."

"But for our sake, you spent nearly half a year inside that cursed realm just to save us... we will both be forever indebted to you, Rio..."

At Ellie’s words, Liam also nodded his head and spoke,

"Yes! Not only you saved me, but you also went so far that you sewed Ellie’s shattered soul back to full health and even made her free of the curse of the shadow dragon race..."

Liam smiled as he spoke.

"After my father has died, all of us children of his will likely receive a hefty inheritance and I will also get a lot of things as the family would divide..."

"Although the debt of having my life saved can never be really paid back in a literal sense, I would try to find some artifact or skill book from the treasury of the Aldif family that would suit you a lot..."

"That cunning father of mine... he likely must have gathered a lot of good things in his decades-long endeavours to gather new methods to improve himself..."

Hearing Liam’s word, Rio’s eyes shone brightly as he suddenly thought of something.

"When you loot the treasury, don’t forget to invite me. I would personally like to see if I can find something useful for myself in the famed treasury of the Aldif family..."

At Rio’s words, Liam smiled and nodded.

"Haha, yeah, I would actually appreciate it if you would go over with me; after all, I would need a strong person to intimidate my rude siblings to obediently hand over the keys to the treasury..."

Link, who was resting his head on Riya’s lap, giggled slightly after hearing those words.

"KEKE, bringing Rio to intimidate? Bro, they are going to have a heart attack if they see Rio walking into their home!"

"You have been gone, so you don’t know, but right now, Rio is famous all over the nation and the world for being one of the most intimidating persons out there!!"

Even Raji and Ashtel nodded their heads at those words.

"Yeah, criminals nowadays actually refer to Rio with the code word ’The Terror Incarnate’; some even call him a sadistic demon king!"

"He’s now a very infamous criminal hunter who’s feared for not having any mercy at all... Rio’s considered the most inhumane awakener of the entire human race right now..."

Lia pouted after hearing those words.

"Hmph! They are all idiots! They don’t know anything at all! Rio is definitely a kind-hearted person!"

"Also, he’s famous among the younger generation!"

Hearing Lia’s words, everyone else in the room didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

For Lia, Rio was indeed the most kindest and warmest person in the world, but for others, he was almost devoid of emotions, like a robot or a cold-blooded serial killer with no human empathy left in his heart!

"Stop talking about me; today’s stars are Liam and Ellie... how are you feeling? Have you both started to adapt to your new bodies now?"

"If you want, I can do some fine-tuning to your body and soul in return for a cup of tea... it’s a win-win deal in my opinion."

At Rio’s words, Liam and Ellie just gave a dry laugh.

"Err, I-it’s fine; we will get used to it sooner or later. no need to mess with the souls anymore..."

Although they trusted Rio, things related to your soul and body were private matters, and it was better not to get others involved in these matters as long as it was not too important.

"Talking about bodies, this new body so much weaker... Sigh, I used to be a powerful peak S-rank dragon; now I am just a weak half-human, half-dragon girl at most..."

Ellie’s previous body was merged with a new humanoid clone, so she was now a hybrid of both human and dragon.

She was no longer a spirit being from the spirit realm but an actual living creature of the material world, which was a good thing, as she could now be in an actual relationship with Liam without any issues!

The only issue was that her strength had fallen to the levels of a mere B-ranker!
