Luckily Mom is here, so she’s not bored. I made Grandma a pair of open-bottom cotton pants on her mom’s large bed. This way, there’s no need to keep changing pants.

Her mom was fine and helped her too. In the end, Lin Wan didn’t even get involved; it was all done by Mom alone.

"Your Grandma’s illness is such a torment. Did the doctor say it can be cured?"

"You’re pregnant now. Even if you want to take care of her, you’re not able to."

"There are mother-in-law and Second Aunt. Grandma will be fine, and when the time comes, I’ll go back with you guys. In my current state, not to mention taking care of others, I might even need my mother-in-law to take care of me. I won’t trouble them."

"Come back after you’ve had the baby, if you want."

Lin Wan and Mom stayed home for a day, and the next day, took the cotton pants to the hospital. Originally, it was supposed to be First Aunt taking care of Grandma today.

The Second Aunt hasn’t gone back yet. "How did I make a fuss? There’s no other way. We can’t have the whole family just for her, can we? That won’t work. What do you suggest?"

"You don’t need to ask me. Since you’re busy making your money, go ahead and earn it. You don’t need to worry about Mom. There are caregivers at night, and we agreed to take turns during the day. Now how come it’s not working?"

"Saozi, then what is Saozi doing now?"

"Mom is getting older, and now her leg problem is obviously not going to heal. I think it’s better not to waste money and let her rest at home."

"It’s not time for resting yet, Sister-in-law. You worry too much. The doctor didn’t say Mom can’t get better. Don’t bring this up again. If you’re busy today, go ahead. I’ll stay here. Don’t talk about this anymore."

"Second Aunt," seeing First Aunt go in, Lin Wan also came out.

The cotton pants that Lin Wan made were very helpful for Grandma. She doesn’t have any sensation now and quickly gets dirty below. So Grandma wasn’t wearing anything below and often pulling the blanket, which can easily make her cold.

Someone is willing to take care of the elderly lady, which naturally makes her happy. This way, she can take care of a little less herself.

"Yes, Xiao Wan is a good kid. Of all the kids, the one she’s most pleased with is Xiao Wan."

"Grandma, how have you been feeling recently?"

"Much better. I’ve been feeling like there’s some sensation in the past two days. It seems like the daily injections are working."

Lin Wan was delighted to hear Grandma’s words. Having sensation proves the method is effective. "That’s good, let’s continue trying then."

First Aunt was happy too upon hearing it’s effective. As long as Grandma regains sensation and can cure the illness, at least they won’t have to take care of her every moment anymore.

After staying with Grandma for a while, Lin Wan went to the factory.

"What? Been here for several days and didn’t even make a phone call? Your Grandma’s okay?"
