Grey settled down. He still wasnât sure what these Types meant, but it seemed that he had a Recursive Neural Network... whatever that meant.
But what he was sure about was the fact heâd find out soon enough.
Before that, though...
Grey quickly went through the other items and found nothing but junk. It seemed that the other Loot Boxes hadnât had anything at all, had trash in them, or they were consumables that May and Fitz had already used.
There was one thing, though.

The bow didnât have any additional abilities, though firing arrows themselves probably counted as much for one as anything else could have.
Unfortunately, even though his Goblin Warlord Spirit was now Level 2, he still didnât feel anything special from the bow when he touched it. He kind of wanted a crossbow. He would have been more confident in something like that since he had fired his fair share of guns on the range, and while hunting with his granddad.
But nothing like that was going to be falling into his lap any time soon.
âIâll need to hurry up and leave. In another few hours, everyone will be here probably. Maybe if I hurry, I can get back before that...â
Grey had no confidence whatsoever. He hadnât come across this witch in any of his other loops, so he wasnât even entirely sure where he was going.
Luckily, when he shifted Mayâs suit just right, he could get the blurry image of a map out of the corner of his eye. He assumed that that map would direct him to where he needed to go.
âWait. I would be a fucking idiot to leave this place without trying to loot something.â
If this was a video game, Globb was clearly the NPC in charge of this place, and right now he was completely frozen.
That said, Globb had also been controlled by an invisible force before, and if this was really like a video game, there would probably be areas of this place Grey couldnât enter with or without him being conscious.
Grey tried to enter the back room, and unsurprisingly, a wall of air pushed him back.
â
[Warning. You have tried to enter a restricted area]
[This is your first warning. The second will result in penalties.]
â
This was the third time Grey had received such a thing, but he was starting to wonder...
If these people couldnât even give him stats, how could they apply penalties?
He slotted this to the back of his mind, but didnât attempt to make it through to the back room again. It wasnât like he had the power to overwhelm whatever was blocking him.
He went to the shelves, trying to pluck things off, but it was like they were all bolted down. The few things he could move were the items that Globb had already put before him, but they didnât seem to have any special properties themselves.
And that was when Greyâs eyes landed on Globb himself.
Then he grinned as he saw the utility belt around the NPCâs waist.
âNow that... looks useful.â
Grey successfully unbuckled the belt and all the items on it mysteriously fell through the material, attaching to the floor as though through magnets.
He tried to pick them up, but as expected, it was like they were bolted to the ground.
The belt itself, though, shifted in Greyâs palm and seemed to resize itself.

â
âCool.â
Grey put Rayâs longsword, Fitzâs bow and arrow, as well as Mayâs spear in his Weapon Space. They seemed to fit, though Mayâs spear had the hardest time. Grey had to adjust how he placed it until he ended up just barely fitting it into the longest diagonal.
It took some doing and some focus. It seemed he wasnât going to be taking that weapon in and out quickly at all.
As for his Tool Space, he chose to wrap up the mat and put it in along with all the other bits and gadgets Globb had brought out earlier. Maybe he would need them.
Once he was done, he finally threw away the floral suit he had been wearing and pulled on Fitzâs Nexis Suit. The two of them were about the same height, but Fitzâs bottoms almost refused to squeeze over Greyâs quads until he just managed to stretch them enough.
Grey shifted Mayâs Nexis Suit over his forearm, taking a peek at the blurry map before nodding.
This would have to do.
âLetâs hurry. Thereâs no time to waste.â

Associate Producer Gard nodded his head and swiped at a screen.
"This is a manageable storyline, and it might be able to play out before Zone 234 is up and ready for the registration round. Use a Quest Ticket."
The message went right to Caldrin, whose tentacles began to snap and pop as though he had bones and was cracking them all one by one.
This was the moment he had been waiting for.

Joaquin finally managed to get Elayne to stop crying. Though, it helped that a new batch of people had come and they had to spend time explaining that they were not the ones who killed May and Fitz.
Unfortunately, that was easier said than done, and there was a healthy distance formed away from them, which left Joaquin all the more irritated.
That was when his screen suddenly flashed with a notification.
