BANG.
Grey kicked down the doors of Giyotoâs mansion and Silva shot at him without hesitation. He had no idea who Grey was, but it wasnât as though it made a difference. Grey had broken into their home, it didnât matter who he was.
But Silva didnât even make it far before Greyâs meat palm caught his throat. Silva clawed at Greyâs skin, but Iron Veil formed panels of blood plaques that looked almost like a dragonâs armor on Greyâs forearm.
Sparks flew and Silva couldnât even draw blood. In fact, his claws nearly shattered on impact, causing him to yelp in pain.
"Iâm going to ask you this once and once alone, Silva." Grey said coldly. "Did you take the armor from Globbâs shop."
Silvaâs eyes widened. There was only one person who would know about that other than him and Giyoto. What the hell had happened to Grey? And how in the world was he back already? According to Giyotoâs calculations, it should have taken him several months at the fastest.
It had barely been two days.
Silva clawed at Greyâs hands, he couldnât even breathe, let alone speak.
Grey dropped him to the ground and Silva scrambled back, his eyes half lit with fear and another half by a feral urge he was continuously trying to suppress and failing to. Every time Grey looked at him he got pissed off.
The silver fox was exactly the sort of example of a person Grey couldnât fucking stand.
"Isnât constantly pretending to be someone you arenât tiresome?"
Silva froze. He didnât know why Grey suddenly changed the topic, but the genuine look of disgust on his face made him feel so uncomfortable in his heart that he almost vomited.
Grey saying those words when he was weaker than him was one thing. Grey saying the same words while treating him like a ragdoll was so terrible Silva couldnât even explain it all in words.
Silva rubbed his throat. "We did not take the armor. At least I did not. The Baron is not present, he has gone to make final arrangements and he will not be back for several weeks. He has to travel a long distance. We did not expect you back so soon."
The more Silva spoke, the more he realized just how much of a problem all of this was.
He suddenly stood up. "If the armor is gone, we need to find it. You cannot imagine how valuable it isâ!"
Grey was already turning to leave. Since what he wanted wasnât here, he knew where it probably was.
"âWhere are you going?!"
Grey paused. "True enough. I donât know where Iâm going. Where is that shit stainâs house?"
Silva blinked in confusion for a moment and then his eyes opened wide in shock.
"Noâ!"
Silva was yanked right off the ground and hauled over Greyâs shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
"Hand me a fucking meat stick, thatâs all youâre useful for." Grey paused for a second. "No homo."
**
Two guards laughed in front of a grand gate splitting the head of a golden lion. It was quite the imposing place. Maybe in the entire city, it was only second to the church itself.
If you spent your entire life on the side of the Savages, it would be impossible to fathom that the streets could be so clean or a home so imposing, but there it was, hovering over the world like some sort of beefed up super truck overcompensating for a certain knightâs small penis just as much.
The gates were unnecessarily tall, the pillars that framed the doors beyond to the home even more asinine.
There was so much white and gold that it blinded the eyes.
Everyone knew whose house it was, and maybe that was why the guards were so casual with their job. Who the hell would dare to attack the home of Sir Terranâ.
BANG.
A fist rocked the face of the first guard. He didnât even get to feel his cheekbones crack. His skull slammed against the opposing wall with such force it burst like a watermelon, splattering red all over the pristine white and gold.
"WHAT ARE YOUâ?!"
Grey backhanded the second guard. His neck snapped on impact and he breathed his last before he even skidded to a stop on the ground dozens of meters away.
There was a shocked silence on the mostly empty streets for a time before screams erupted.
Grey grabbed at the gates, his eyes flashing with a radiant amount of light.
"Grey! Grey stop this right now!" Silva was truly panicked. This was insane. If Giyoto came back to this, everything would be over.
Silva had been sure that Grey only came back so quickly because he had failed. But while he was dangling from Greyâs shoulder, he felt a bulge coming from his pocket. At first he thought it was the worst, but when his hand grazed against it by accident, he felt a jolt that sent him into a spiral.
He knew exactly what that was. It was the item Giyoto had been dreaming about for so many years now.
Grey had actually succeeded. He succeeded alone. And he had succeeded so quickly, only to come back like a raging tank.
But that also meant that if Grey died here, especially in Terranâs mansion, that item would be forever lost until Giyoto was willing to offendâ.
"GREY! STOP! TERRANâS GRANDFATHER IS A DUKE!"
"Do I look like I give a shit?"
Grey shrugged Silva off and the silver fox man tumbled into the streets.
BANG.
With a yank, Grey ripped the gates off their hinges. They were made well, but they didnât have the slightest bit of extra protections. It was like Terran didnât think anyone dared to kill him at all.
Grey turned back before stepping into the estate, his gaze boring holes into Silvaâs own.
"Find your backbone or get the fuck out of my sight. It pisses me off every time I see you."
Grey walked into the estate, dragging the two halves of the gate.
He roared, took a step, and hurled one right at the mansion doors.
BOOM.
