Chapter 1493: Hand of Sharp God

Chapter 1493: Chapter 1493: Hand of Sharp God

The last bidder who offered one million seven hundred and fifty thousand was again the prime minister of the Celestial Harmony Clan. Without mentioning the success rate of the bid, his frequent actions have clearly demonstrated the immense wealth of the Celestial Harmony Clan.

“One million eight hundred thousand!” A bidding voice sounded again from the Sky Horse Clan’s box.

“One million eight hundred and fifty thousand!” The Celestial Harmony prime minister almost without hesitation quoted the price.

The Sky Horse Clan’s box fell silent. At this price, it’s no longer worth it.

“One million eight hundred and fifty thousand first time, one million eight hundred and fifty thousand second time, one million eight hundred and fifty thousand third time!”

“Bang!”

The hammer fell, sold. The Celestial Harmony prime minister finally secured an artifact.

At the moment the hammer fell, Lan Xuanyu still felt a bit unwilling. This artifact was really quite suitable. But its price was simply too expensive, too expensive. How much did he spend on the previous three artifacts? How much was this one?

Forget it, let’s give up for now. There will be opportunities in the future.

The fourth artifact achieved new glory, even though it didn’t surpass the value of the Destroying Divine Dragon Armor, this time, many people participated in the bid. It fully demonstrated how much of a market there is for artifacts.

Li Jingyi did not pause and immediately announced to bring out the fifth artifact.

Another trolley rolled in. When this trolley appeared in the arena, a touch of peculiar charm quietly blossomed, seemingly unstoppable even by the protection cover.

The Star Moon Dragon Knight smiled slightly and said, “Next, this artifact is also a very special one. Relatively speaking, its application scope is somewhat narrow, but it possesses an extremely special property. This artifact comes from the Sky Horse Clan, with a deeper origin unknown. Everyone, please watch.” While speaking, she unveiled the red cloth.

On the auction trolley, within a protection cover with a diameter of only one and a half feet, lay a set of peculiar artifacts, indeed, a set, because there were two pieces.

They were glove-like objects, fully presenting a dark gold color. On the back of the hand, they were intricately embedded with gemstones forming a pattern. The triangular pattern, under the brilliance of the gemstones, had a three-dimensional feel, yet exuded a sharp aura. Just a glance would give the impression of one’s divine consciousness being pierced.

The Star Moon Dragon Knight Li Jingyi said, “This artifact is named the Hand of Sharp God. Its effect is very peculiar. When the user puts it on, any weapon used will carry a powerful penetration effect. Its penetration power is so strong that it can instantly turn ordinary iron into divine weapons. Therefore, its role is to bestow sharpness. The premise is that the bestowed weapon must be non-metallic. Additionally, the Hand of Sharp God itself does not possess any attack or defense capabilities, so one must be careful, once damaged, it cannot be repaired. It is said that this artifact appeared with this trait very coincidentally during its forging.”

Bestowing sharpness, powerful penetration?

Upon hearing this trait, the bidders immediately fell into a discussion. The reason is that this artifact sounded somewhat disappointing. Although it’s not as disappointing as the previous Ice Fire God Card, which seemed less like an artifact, the role of bestowing sharpness to other weapons seems a bit weak.

After all, at the God Rank or even Super God Rank, everyone’s attack power is not weak. Moreover, more emphasis is on overall battle. This glove bestowing sharpness means needing other weapons to cooperate, but they can’t be metal. If not metal, what should be used? It’s not impossible, but a bit troublesome. Also, just increasing penetration, depending on the weapon’s own strength during the process.

Sure enough, after a powerful artifact comes a disappointing one!

The bidders’ enthusiasm instantly decreased.

Li Jingyi did not say much more about this artifact, but just smiled and said, “We begin the auction, starting price at twenty thousand Sky Dragon Crystal Coins. Each increment no less than one thousand Sky Dragon Crystal Coins.” It’s lower than the previous Radiant Flame Dragon Lance but significantly higher than the Ice Fire God Card.

“Twenty-one thousand!” A bid appeared at the first moment still, after all, this is a universal artifact! After all, it is an artifact. Bestow sharpness, penetration effect, it’s artifact level, can’t be too bad after all.

“Twenty-two thousand!”

The auction enthusiasm could not compare to the previous Radiant Flame Dragon Lance at all, the numbers were jumping up by one thousand increments.

Back then, Hou Dingzhong had told him that the normal artifact price was roughly between forty to fifty thousand Sky Dragon Crystal Coins. It’s impossible for every artifact to be like the Yin Yang Divine Plaque, Azure Ice Seal Godly Sword being bought cheaply due to troublesome negative effects.

The price of the Hand of Sharp God was slowly climbing, gradually, the bidding speed even started to pick up.

“Thirty thousand!” The price began to break the thirty thousand threshold.

Lan Xuanyu’s divine consciousness swept outside, silently sensing the bidding positions, especially to sense whether the Celestial Harmony prime minister was continuing to bid. For this sharpness-bestowing artifact, the Celestial Harmony prime minister maintained silence and had no intention of purchasing, evidently this artifact is not quite to his liking.

“Thirty-five thousand! Is anyone willing to continue bidding? Currently, the price of this artifact is only thirty-five thousand.” Li Jingyi asked on stage.

She was somewhat puzzled about this artifact; prior to the auction, evaluations had been done on these artifacts. Among them, the Ice Fire God Card, or in Lan Xuanyu’s mind, the Yin Yang Divine Plaque was definitely the most difficult to auction, because it could hardly be called an artifact. Price wouldn’t be high. Then the Eye of the God was hard to sell due to troublesome negative effects being too annoying. The Azure Ice Seal Godly Sword had actually been below expectations. And this one, is also below expectations.

Bestowing sharpness, this Hand of Sharp God actually has a very powerful effect. This pair of gloves is effective for any God level strong person. However, in Dragon Clan battles, the demand for sharpness isn’t high. True God Rank strong people, mostly rely on large-scale attacks, long-range energy attacks to showcase their strength. Close-range combat isn’t needed, and weapons are mostly to amplify energy. Making one’s overall output stronger. Therefore, it’s expected the Hand of Sharp God won’t be too enthusiastic, but didn’t expect its level of enthusiasm to be so low.

According to initial estimates, in the Dragon Horse Grand Auction, the Hand of Sharp God’s price should at least be above fifty thousand, yet now it’s barely thirty-five thousand.

“Thirty-five thousand, first time!” Seeing no further bids, the Star Moon Dragon Knight Li Jingyi began counting down. With her status, naturally, she wouldn’t keep entangling over one auction item.

At this moment, a bidding card was raised, “Thirty-six thousand!”

Li Jingyi’s gaze turned towards the bidding card direction, immediately showing a surprised look. Is this girl planning to specialize in artifacts?

The one who raised the card was none other than Lan Xuanyu.

He was actually waiting all along for the final price of this artifact to come out. So, seeing it start to count down, then he made a move to bid.

The other bidder who originally thought he would secure the artifact was clearly stunned, a new price had emerged?

“Thirty-seven thousand!” He reluctantly added another bid.

This time Lan Xuanyu did not make a leap in bidding, but just added one thousand on the original basis, “Thirty-eight thousand!”

The opponent ceased to compete, no longer continuing to raise, after all, the limitations of the Hand of Sharp God are relatively significant, getting higher wouldn’t be worth it.

“Thirty-eight thousand, first time, thirty-eight thousand second time, thirty-eight thousand, third time. Bang!”

“Sold!”

Li Jingyi felt a peculiar feeling when the hammer fell; the auction today had the Azure Ice Seal Godly Sword, the Eye of the God, Ice Fire God Card, Destroying Divine Dragon Armor, Radiant Flame Dragon Lance, and now this Hand of Sharp God, a total of six artifacts.
