Chapter 82 Lin Fan: I Still Love You

A young woman in work attire hurriedly ran to the entrance, looking around as if searching for something.

"Security guard brother, have you seen a handsome young man arrive?" the young woman promptly asked the security guard.

The security guard replied, "A handsome young man? Well, there was a delivery guy here earlier, quite handsome. At first, I thought he was here to deliver food and didn’t let him in, but he said he was waiting for someone."

The young woman laughed, "That’s him, Mr. Lin. The information says he’s a deliveryman. Where did he go?"

The security guard said, "He went inside. A group of people just came, including a property owner who’s apparently his friend, and they brought him in."

The young woman was surprised; so Mr. Lin actually has friends here.

"Do you know who his friend, the property owner, is?" the young woman asked.

The security guard said, "I do. I helped her deliver something upstairs before. She lives on the 10th floor of Building C, Miss He. Miss Chen, why are you looking for this delivery guy?"

The young woman said, "I’m the one he’s waiting for; he’s the property owner here."

The security guard’s expression changed, blurting out, "What, he’s the property owner?"

A delivery guy, actually an owner in Tangchen Yipin? That’s unbelievable.

The young woman revealed a mysterious smile, "He’s not just any property owner; he bought an entire building here."

"Huh?"

The security guard was petrified on the spot.

At this moment, the 10th floor of Building C.

Chen Sikai suddenly spoke, shifting everyone’s attention to Lin Fan.

"Lin Fan was Little Fang’s middle school classmate and had a crush on her. Lin Fan, is this true?" Chen Sikai looked at Lin Fan with an amused expression.

After hearing this from He Xiaofang, Chen Sikai immediately decided to meet Lin Fan.

Lin Fan, with a calm face, said, "It’s true."

Her explanation seemed to defend Lin Fan, but the focus was on the latter part, emphasizing that it was purely a one-sided affection from Lin Fan.

Everyone laughed even more.

Listening to this, He Xiaofang quietly breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully she clarified things in time; if people misunderstood her as liking Lin Fan too, it would be so embarrassing, especially since Lin Fan is a deliveryman she really looks down upon.

But Chen Sikai obviously didn’t plan to stop at this, saying, "Lin Fan, do you still like Little Fang now?"

His words turned everyone’s attention to Lin Fan, waiting for him to answer. He Xiaofang was also watching Lin Fan, a bit anxious, worried Lin Fan might say he still likes her.

If Lin Fan said he still liked her, the ridicule from everyone would surely intensify.

Lin Fan smiled, "Do you want to hear the truth?"

Lin Fan’s attitude annoyed Chen Sikai, who did harbor resentment and even a hint of suspicion about Lin Fan and He Xiaofang’s relationship.

"Of course, go ahead and say it truthfully. There’s nothing wrong with liking someone, especially since you’re just a deliveryman and I’m the Great Huaxia Region’s president for Sile International. Surely, I wouldn’t fear you as a rival?" Chen Sikai chuckled.

Everyone laughed at Chen Sikai’s words.

Lin Fan’s gaze fell on He Xiaofang, "Then I’ll be honest. Despite all these years, I haven’t forgotten you. After seeing you again last night, I didn’t sleep well. I’ve realized how deeply I still love you."

That wasn’t true, though; the childish infatuation had long vanished. But Chen Sikai’s provocation made Lin Fan want to annoy him, knowing those words would surely upset him.
