Rakāhael told Mikāhael about everything that had happened with Jason over the past few months. From how Jason fought against Rubik during the trial, to how Jason had run away to clear his name, and how he ended up massacring the Machina race.
"After that, there was another situation with Queen Hesbeath of the Minori that led to many more deaths, and some other things. But during our last meeting, I couldnāt believe the sort of things I heard from the council. Can you believe some of them were actually thinking of making Jason a member of the council? Someone with a criminal record like that?"
Rakāhael turned to look at Mikāhael to see if he agreed with her, but all she saw on Mikāhaelās face was a look of intense curiosity. Mikāhael smiled with narrowed eyes, and he asked a simple question.
"This Jason Marc of Earth. Is he strong?"
Of course, thatās the only thing heād take from everything I said. Rakāhael let out a tired sigh as she realised she was venting to the wrong person! Her brother was far too much of a battle nut! But surprisingly, Mikāhael managed to calm himself when he saw the genuine concern on his sisterās face, and Mikāhael realised that this was something serious! Mikāhael hummed before he asked.
"Why are you so against this, Jason joining the council? Would it really be so bad?"
Rakāhael frowned.
"Why am I against it? Isnāt it obvious? Heās a criminal. Do you know how many innocent people heās killed?"
"Rakāhael, I donāt think either of us has the liberty to claim the moral high ground when it comes to killing. Weāve both committed our fair share of genocides during the war."
Rakāhael flinched before she turned away from Mikāhaelās hard gaze with a frown! Why did Mikāhael have to keep reminding her of those times? Even though Rakāhael was no longer on the front lines, there was once a time when both Mikāhael and Rakāhael had been going out to the battlefield together, and during that time, Rakāhael had killed enough people to make what Jason did to the Machina look like childās play! If Rakāhael were to start counting just how many lives she had taken, it would probably reach up to a billion! But that had been during the Period of Lawlessness when Rakāhael had no choice but to fight to protect her people! All the people that the Rakāhael killed were enemies that attacked them first, and people who were plotting to attack them! Rakāhael had no choice!
Mikāhael let out a small sigh when he saw the pained expression on his sisterās face. In his heart, Mikāhael always knew that Rakāhael was not someone who enjoyed killing. Even though both Rakāhael and Mikāhael had the same potential, Mikāhael was stronger than Rakāhael because, unlike Rakāhael, Mikāhael didnāt have any problems with killing! Mikāhael could kill a million people in the morning, and he would go to have lunch with a smile on his face before going to kill another million in the evening without any issues! Rakāhael just couldnāt do something like that, and every life Rakāhael took stabbed into Rakāhaelās conscience like a dagger! That was why Rakāhael was more suited for the position of Overlord of the Second Domain than Mikāhael! Rakāhael cared for people far more than Mikāhael did!
Mikāhael hummed once more before asking.
"You said earlier that this Jason Marc wasnāt fully human? What is his other origin?"
The air around Rakāhael immediately became a lot more tense, and Rakāhael looked away from her brother before she mumbled something inaudible towards the ground. Mikāhael blinked, and he stepped closer while asking his sister to repeat herself, and this time, Rakāhael was just audible enough for Mikāhael to hear her.
"Heās an Avaran."
Mikāhael let out a loud sigh and shook his head!
"Of course. Now it makes sense."
"What do you mean, it makes sense! Iām not doing any of this just because of that!"
"Really?"
"Really!"
Rakāhael shouted angrily, and Mikāhael gave Rakāhael the most deadpan look she had ever received! Rakāhaelās cheeks burned red from anger, and she pushed off the table and walked away from Mikāhael! This was absolute bullshit!
"Look, it doesnāt matter, okay! All Iām saying is that Jason is not a good fit for this council!"
Mikāhael shook his head, and he decided that he would stop arguing about this. When his sister got like this, it was impossible to convince her about anything. Mikāhael knew that a lot of Rakāhaelās anger towards the Avarans came from Richard abandoning her all those years ago, but Rakāhael couldnāt keep dwelling on that.
"Just try to give the kid a chance. If youāre going to judge him, then make sure youāre not blinded by what happened back then. Weāre angels, so itās not healthy to hold resentment for so long. But this Jason Marc of Earth, he seems pretty interesting. I just might give him a visit sometime. He wasnāt alive during the Period of Lawlessness, but from what Iāve heard, I think he wouldāve loved it back then."
Rakāhael made a noise of immediate disapproval, and she pointed a finger at Mikāhael!
"Donāt you dare go anywhere near the sixth Domain! Do you understand!? I will not have you causing an interdomain conflict because of your uncontrollable battlelust! If you attack Jason first, the council will fine us for billions!"
Mikāhael smiled!
"So I just have to make him attack me first, eh? Iāll keep that in mind."
Rakāhael sighed tiredly, and she just decided to let it go! Mikāhael wasnāt going to change anything about himself, so there was no point in trying to change him. Rakāhael reached into her drawer, and she grabbed a document before sliding it across her desk to Mikāhael. Mikāhael picked up the document and began to scan through it as Rakāhael spoke.
"You have a new mission. This one is Primordial Rank, so please try to read through the document properly. Thereās been suspicious behaviour from the eastern border of the Primordial Zone. We think it might be a powerful Primordial Army trying to break through the Primordial Filament. Since the eastern region falls in our domain, it threatens our citizens, so I need you to go there and find out if it is a false alarm. If you find anything related to the Primordials, then report back immediately."
Mikāhael frowned.
"Immediately?"
"Yes, report back immediately. This isnāt a joke, so I will not tolerate any form of fighting between you and any Primordials you find. You have to return and warn the various worlds about whatās coming, so we can prepare accordingly. Do you understand?"
Mikāhael let out a small sigh, and he saluted Rakāhael before he turned to leave the room. But before Mikāhael could exit, he heard Rakāhaelās voice following him out.
"It was nice to see you again, Mikāhael. Please, come back safe."
Mikāhael smiled and finally closed the door behind him.

[The Forest of Eternal Wind]
[With Gina and Farlow]
Gina jumped across a tall branch and flew into the air before unleashing multiple wind blades all around her! The wind blades flew through the air and cut hundreds of giant wasps to pieces before they could get close, and Gina fell back onto the forest floor as the wasps fell to the ground around her! A few meters away from Gina, Farlow used a wall of wind to block the charge of a giant bear-type beast with various red markings across its body. Farlow used his wind to lift the bear into the air easily before he slammed it into a tree with a wave of his hand! Gina and Farlow had been travelling for the better part of six hours now, and they were already close to the home of the spirits in this forest, so the number of monsters was starting to increase rapidly.
