Chapter 2037: Godspark.
âDo you not hear yourself?
He loves them foolishly, he does not hide them.
Trust me,
Capturing them wouldnât be difficult if you follow my plan.â
âWhat plan?â
Sharnoth questioned, and Zylarithâs grin widened even further.
âYou plan on sending your subordinates to your subordinate worlds, correct?â
âYes.â
âDiscard that plan.â
âHuh?â
Sharnoth frowned.
âThis is not the first time he is standing against me, girl.
Do you remember how your people were disappearing every minute 5,000 years ago?â
âWas thatâŠâ
Sharnothâs expression changed.
âThat was him.â
Zylarith nodded.
âI couldnât sense his presenceâŠâ
Sharnoth finally realized it.
Soon, however, she noticed something odd,
âWait, if you knew it was him, why didnât you tell me?â
âI only figured it out when you told me about it. He was already long gone by then,â
Zylarith answered.
âButâŠâ
âThere was nothing we could have done. I was waiting for him to appear again; alerting you wouldnât have made a difference.â
ââŠâ
Sharnoth stayed silent.
Zylarith nodded at that and continued,
âWhat I am saying is, sending your subordinates wouldnât make a difference. As you said, he is capable of taking care of Transcendents, he somehow has a strong grasp of the Power of Space, and he uses this power to first analyze his chances of success before making a move.
Even if you send Transcendents, if they are weaker than him, he will attack; if they are stronger, he will simply go look for another world. There are also chances he will directly attack your subordinates before they even get to the world they are meant to protect.
He is a hidden enemy, he has the advantage here.â
âThis is what worries me.â
Sharnoth nodded with a grim look on her face.
In her previous encounter, she had learned just how monstrous that man was. If it werenât for her revealing her true strength and ruining the spatial alignment of Khaemorr with Chaos, things could have become much worse than they are.
Nuxâs powers were at a ridiculous level.
He was probably the trickiest Transcendent she had encountered in all her life.
âUse Portals.â
Zylarith suggested.
âConnect to your subordinate world through portals.â
âThat would consume too many resourcesâŠâ
Sharnoth answered. She had thought about it as well, but even this wasnât a long-term solution. Because of how quick her growth was, one thing her Faction was lacking was money.
Or at least that is what she thought,
ButâŠ
âDonât worry about the resources.â
Zylarith shook his head.
Then, he waved his hand, and suddenly, a storage ring appeared in front of Sharnoth.
The Queen frowned; Zylarith, on the other hand, continued,
âThere are 20 million Portals in it. All you need to do is enter the worldsâ coordinates in them, and these Portals will teleport to the given coordinates and activate themselves.
That will allow you to form pathways between Khaemorr and the other worlds, giving you instant and safe access to all the worlds.â
â20 million?â
Sharnoth raised her eyebrow.
Honestly, she wasnât exactly surprised. This wasnât the first time her Master had done something like this. The number of resourcesâbe it handy artifacts or even relicsâhe had was simply absurd.
Sharnoth had seen this man throw relics like they were waste. That was how big his treasury was.
He called it âSystem Spaceâ.
And every time she tried to learn more about it, he just shook his head and refused to say anything.
âYou have 12 more hours before he moves again; set this up.â
âIt will be done.â
Sharnoth nodded.
It wasnât like she had to set these up herself, she just needed to pass the order.
Zylarith nodded. He knew how efficient the girl was, so he didnât say anything else and continued.
Another spherical artifact appeared in front of her, an artifact she had never seen before.
It floated in the air, humming with quiet, strange power. Its outer shell was a dark, glass-like webâsemi-translucent and cracked, as if barely containing the storm within. There were runes all over its surface, constantly shifting and rewriting themselves.
At its core, what seemed like a miniature galaxy swirled. Different colors pulsed within it in an endless, almost hypnotic dance.
The moment the artifact appeared, the air around it warped subtly; it seemed like the artifact had the power to affect the very Laws of the world they were in.
Curious, Sharnoth stared at Zylarith, wanting an explanation.
âGodspark.â
And Zylarith gave her what she wanted.
âIt has the power to mix oneâs energy with the worldâs energy.â
He explained, then looked into his discipleâs eyes and,
âAny worldâs energy.â
âWhatâŠ?â
Sharnothâs expression changed.
âThat childâs hold over the Power of Space is much greater than what most usually expect. He has the power to pass through the universal energy barrier and sense what is happening inside a world without having to actually be there.
With an ability like that, it doesnât matter even if you use a Portal to send your men into those worlds; he will simply sense their existence and attack accordingly.
To avoid that, you will use Godspark.â
Sharnothâs crimson eyes flickered with enlightenment, instantly understanding her Masterâs plan.
âYou will fill the Godspark with the Energy of Chaos and plant one of them in every world. The Godspark would then turn that worldâs energy into Chaos energy. It would not only alter the spatial alignment of that world, even Time and other Primordial Energies will be affected as well.
It will become an entirely different place,
A battlefield where half of Nuxâs tricks wonât work.â
âMy subordinates will be the same. Their abilities wonât work properly either.â
Sharnoth mentioned the problem.
Zylarith, however, just grinned at that.
âIt doesnât matter.
His tricks are stronger.â
Sharnoth nodded in understanding.
With the worldâs energy infested with chaos, normal abilities wouldnât work. Most battles would turn into pure physical battles, and against a tricky opponent like Nux, who is more dependent on his abilities, physical battles would be much easier.
Sharnothâs eyes shined, and a light, almost intractable grin appeared on her face. She finally had a way to trample the bug that had been annoying her all this while.
Just as she started thinking of her future plans after she gets rid of Nux, Zylarith spoke up,
âNow make sure you tell your men to not engage if they are up against Nux.â
âHuhâŠ?â
